In which our heroes

While I'm starting the blog well after the campaign started, the initial player characters for the game are...

Solanthos Dawngold of Pavis - A merchant of Pavis and worshipper of Lokarnos the Wagoner, more inclined to knife you in the kidneys than give up a profit. Solanthos has decided Pavis is a place best left far behind after his partner of two years, Ponzil the Fruiterer, has betrayed him and abandoned Solanthos to manage sizeable debt's to a very intemperate man.

Zlatos Skybright - a Yelmalian mercenary of Sun County, regretably leaving his homeland after suffering demotion and humiliation following the circulation of unbecoming murmurs among his fellows. Zlatos seeks his fortune in Balazar, having heard from Pelorian merchants the Lightsons of Yelmalio there ride Giant Hawks into battle.

Vajaan, a slave and cook of Balazaring descent, purchased by Zlatos to act as guide and translator in Balazar. Though raised by adoptive parents, also slaves from Balazar, and was taught some of their ways, he has failed to mention to his master he has not set foot in this far off land since the age of six.

Esvana of Sartar, an initiate of Ernalda guided by visions granted to the temple mothers. She has been sent to recover a treasure of the Godtimes for the glory of Ernalda, fleeing a heart left desolate by the failure of her rebellious kin, and yearning for future freedom.

Braemar Rubbleguide, an passionate man of staunch Anti-Lunar convictions and otherwise loose moral fibre. Fleeing a warrant for his arrest following an ambush and subsequent slaughter of adventurous Lunars in the rubble. His heart is ruled by hatred and fear.

Slaava Goosetavn, a journeyman smith of Third Eye Blue stock, whose skills have been purchased from his father by Solanthos. Surly, disrespectful and cock-sure, he has an eye for fine metal and foreign ladies.

When last we saw our erstwhile band...
